SOUTHBAY PAVILION SPRING BLOOM FASHION EXPERIENCE

March 16, 2018Carson Calif.  SouthBay Pavilion, in partnership with Tamea Scales, celebrity stylist and owner of Diva Legs, presents the 2018 Spring Bloom Fashion Show Experience on Saturday, March 17, from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, hosted by Christina Cooper, as seen on Netflix Original comedy-drama tv show ‘Dear White People’. The show will feature the latest trends from JCPenney, F21red, The Children’s Place, Old Navy, and rue21 held at SouthBay Pavilion Center Court located at 20700 Avalon Blvd., Carson CA 90746.

There will be 48 models of diverse size and ages featured on the runway. “We’ve worked with Tamea Scales since our Back to School Fashion Show in 2016.” Sweeney Montinola, Marketing Director of SouthBay Pavilion said. “She understands our vision and has done a great job at showcasing a diverse selection of models and styles on the runway. The audience size has grown and we are expecting approximately 200 people to partake in this fashion experience. My favorite part of every fashion show is seeing our shoppers inspired by the outfits on the runway. The featured stores directly benefit from this fashion experience.”

SouthBay Pavilion hosts 3 fashion shows annually centered around the busiest shopping times of the year: Spring/Easter, Back to School, and Holiday/winter fashion show. “I love working with SouthBay Pavilion. They give me the autonomy to express my creativity on the runway.” Tamea Scales said. “I manage the entire process including the casting call, model selection, outfit styling, rehearsal, and day of coordination of the models. The marketing team of SouthBay Pavilion ensures that the décor is up to par and the event is well attended. It’s a great partnership.”

SouthBay Pavilion enjoys working with local social media influencers and brands to attract more traffic. “I spoke at a model class in Compton and one of the lovely ladies posted a flyer of the fashion show.” Christina Cooper said. “I immediately reached out to the SouthBay Pavilion team to be a part of this great event.”

There will be gift card giveaways and raffle prizes during the event. The event is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served.
