SOUTHBAY PAVILION HOSTS FIRST ANNUAL GIRLS NIGHT OUT
Celebrating Mother’s Day in partnership with local sponsors and businesses

Carson, CA  (May 3, 2013) - On Friday, May 10, 2013 from 4pm – 8pm, SouthBay Pavilion, located at 20700 Avalon Blvd., Carson CA 90746, hosts its First Annual Girls Night Out to celebrate and give thanks to all the outstanding mothers and mother figures in today’s community. The event will feature makeover workshops, body scrub workshop, DIY Mother’s Day greeting card workshop, fashion and style shows, giveaways, shopping rewards, demonstrations, and vendors with unique Mother’s Day gift ideas and more!

Many of the big box stores in SouthBay Pavilion are participating in this event. JCPenney will be providing the hair makeovers and Sears will feature a still fashion show with models from Barbizon, giveaway including a Keurig coffee maker and gift cards for the moms. Other stores like Old Navy, eCosway, Vitamin World, The Optometry, MICA Beauty Cosmetics, Relaxation Stop, Photomakers, Cinnabon, Sweet Market, Mrs. Field, Yes Kids and Urban Chic are participating by offering an exclusive discount for participants only and/or sponsoring generous giveaways.

In addition, we will be rewarding five moms who were nominated as Best Moms of the year. SouthBay Pavilion Shoppers were asked to nominate the best mom they know and five out of all the nominated moms will receive a free makeover from JCPenney and MICA Beauty. They also will receive gifts from one of the main sponsors, Table Tops, Unlimited.

Tony Romas Restaurant will host an Early Bird Happy Hour privately for all the attendees who check in between 1pm and 2pm. The Early Birds will receive tote bags and a ticket to the Happy Hour Event which starts at 2pm and ends at 3pm. Tony Romas will offer all well drinks at $3.50 and regular margaritas at $4.50.

During the event, Choura Events, a catering company housed in the Carson Community Center will host a Virgin Drink Bar. All attendees receive one free drink ticket and can purchase additional drinks at $3 each.

A $5 SouthBay Pavilion Gift Card will be rewarded to the first 50 shoppers who provide a receipt for a minimum of $100 or more in purchases.  Gift cards will only be rewarded in $100 increment purchases (not to exceed $200).

Everyone who plans to attend the event is required to pre-register at the Guest Services Booth inside the Mall. The first 200 attendees to check-in at the event will receive a tote bag. Check in time starts at 3pm and the event starts at 4pm. This event is FREE and open to the public. Registration is required.
