SOUTHBAY PAVILION FREE MOVIE NIGHTS THIS SUMMER

 Family Friendly Movies Scheduled Every Wednesday, 7pm -9pm

Carson, CA (May 16, 2011) – Beginning Wednesday, June 15 through August 10, 2011, SouthBay Pavilion located at 20700 Avalon Boulevard, Carson ,CA 90746 will launch the first annual Free Movie Night  every Wednesday from 7pm -9pm 

In an effort to support the community during the lingering recession, SouthBay Pavilion and other local businesses (listed below) have combined resources to present the first annual Free Movie Night every Wednesday, a fun and free activity for the whole family to enjoy! The movies were carefully selected to entertain all ages. In addition, SouthBay Pavilion will screen the Diary of a Wimpy Kid II and Rio before their DVD release dates. 

 This event will be held at the Center Court, located near the Food Court area. Unlike the usual over-priced pop corn and drinks, movie goers can enjoy affordable snacks from the food court. Some of our food vendors include: Jollibee Fried Chicken and Burgers, Panda Express, Chile Verde Mexican Food, Jerusalem Kabob, Great Steak and Potato, California Grill, Cinnabon, Mrs. Fields Cookies, Avanti Pizza, Hot Dog on a Stick, Jamba Juice, Wing Stop, Panera Bread, Five Buys Burgers and Fries, Sweet Market, Wetzel’s Pretzel, and more!

Everyone is encouraged to bring comfortable seating such as lawn chairs or beanie bags. Seating will start at 6pm and space is strictly on a first come first serve basis.

  • July 13 – Diary of a Wimpy Kid II sponsored by Robert J. Dupont Law Office
  • July 20 – Ice Age I sponsored by Five Guys Burgers and Fries
  • July 27 – Ice Age II sponsored by FOX Drug of Torrance
  • August 3 – Cheaper by the Dozen 2 sponsored by Tony Roma’s
  • August 10 – Rio sponsored by Chile Verde Mexican Food
