SOUTHBAY PAVILION CONTINUES THEIR FIGHT AGAINST OBESITY BY HOSTING THE COOL KIDS & TEENS MOVE, A COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENT FROM THEIR AWARD WINNING “KEEP YOUR MALL-MENTUM” CAMPAIGN

This event also Celebrates the 5 year anniversary of Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Campaign and Dizzy Feet Foundation’s National Dance Day.

July 20, 2015 (Carson, Calif.) –In partnership with local organizations to help bring awareness to the obesity crisis in our community, Cool Kids & Teens Move, is part of the award-winning Keep your Mall-Mentum Campaign, a two-hour event featuring physical activity, games, and dance competition, which will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at SouthBay Pavilion (20700 Avalon Blvd., Carson, CA 90746).

SouthBay Pavilion Mall’s Cool Kids & Teens Move Campaign will provide the community with the following activities:
• Two (2) hours of active fun featuring entertainers and trainers showcasing Zumba, Bootcamp, Yoga, and more!
• Meet, Greet, and MOVE with Spider-Man and Captain America “Because superheroes have to stay fit, too!”
• FIVE fitness/obstacles challenges for all registered kids & teens in honor of the 5-year anniversary of Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Campaign. Upon completion, participants will receive their fun giveaways (Jump ropes, draw string back packs, and a chance to win movie tickets).
• A Dance competition, in celebration of National Dance Day, will be held and all competitors must complete an entry form online for a chance to win a $100 gift card for first place, a $50 gift card for second place, and a $25 gift card for third place Rules and regulations can be accessed on the website provided below.
