ISLAND PARTY AT SOUTHBAY PAVILION
Celebrating One Year of Free Zumba Fitness Classes at SouthBay Pavilion
Carson, CA (August 1, 2012) – On Saturday, August 4, 2012, from 8:30am – 10:00am, SouthBay Pavilion, located at 20700 Avalon Blvd., Carson CA 90746, will host an Island Party to celebrate the One Year Anniversary of The Zumba Saturdays.
SouthBay Pavilion MALL POWER campaign, launched in 2011, focuses on helping the community become more health conscious as obesity rates have recently increased. This includes events such as Health Fairs, weekly Farmer’s Market, weekly Salsa Mondays, weekly Kids Club Thursdays and weekly Zumba Saturdays,
The One Year Zumba Fitness Anniversary will start earlier than normal at 8:30am – 10am with 100+ people in attendance. African drummer, Jah-Amen Mosley will liven up the party with his African beats. Certified Zumba Instructors Laura Bella Luna, Dorcas Waddis and Sweeney Mae will pump up the crowd with high energy Zumba Fitness routines.
Proceeds will be donated to Social Impact Productions Crew, a branch of YFSC-PIA (Youth, Family, School, Community – Partnership In Action) group promoting local events to benefit charities.
Zumba Saturdays is normally free of charge but on SouthBay Pavilion’s One Year Anniversary, they wanted to help raise funds for a Social Impact Productions Crew, a local charity. General Admission:$10; Children under 12 years old: $3; Zumba Fitness Club Members: $5. Tickets are available at Guest services in advance for General Admission and Children. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the day of the event. Doors will open at 7:30am on Saturday August 4, 2012.
SouthBay Pavilion in Carson, California, is located immediately off the 405 Freeway with direct exposure to over 350,000 cars daily in the Los Angeles Trade Area.
