THE FARMERS MARKET RETURNS AT SOUTHBAY PAVILION WITH A MONTH-LONG GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION

Scheduled Every Thursday from 9 am – 3 pm starting on November 7, 2019

October 10, 2019Carson Calif.  SouthBay Pavilion and it’s loyal and local patrons are excited about the return of the Farmer’s Market. The market will have its official grand opening ceremony on November 7th at 9am and will be followed by a series of live performances and non-profit partnerships for the entire month of November. The Farmer’s Market will return to its original location at the parking lot closest to the food court area at 20700 Avalon Blvd., Carson CA 90746.

Since the Farmer’s Market’s last day at SouthBay Pavilion in 2016, the mall management team has received numerous requests to bring the market back. Due to the F21 construction, the market had to relocate to the parking lot of the Dignity Health Sports Park (previously known as the Stub Hub Center). “The market hasn’t been the same since we were relocated.” Irma Hernandez, Manager of the Farmer’s Market said. “The SouthBay Pavilion is really the best place for us and we are so excited to return with familiar and new vendors this November”.

Erma and Tony Hernandez are experienced Farmer’s Market vendors. They have participated in various markets over the years and Erma decided to take matters in her own hands to learn the business and personally manage the SouthBay Pavilion market under their company, Villa Nueva Market. Some of the confirmed vendors include:

Reyes Farm, Patty Farm, Garcia Farm, Yee Vue Farm, Orosi Farm, Jassmin Jam Jellis, Brothers Products, Evan Angelo’s Gelatos, Mix Certified Organic Lemonade, La Gordita Feliz Pupusas, Mommie Helen’s Bakery, Maria’s Original Kettle Korn, Sausage Master, and more!
