CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION!

Lion Dance and Kung Fu Presentation at the Mall

Carson, CA (February 11, 2011) – On Saturday, February 13th at 4pm, SouthBay Pavilion Mall, located at 20700 Avalon Blvd., Carson, CA will be celebrating the Chinese New Year.

While you may not be able to get to China in time to celebrate the New Year, SouthBay Pavilion will be bringing the celebration near you. Festivities will be held throughout the day and will be suitable for all ages so bring the whole family out to participate! Come witness the breathtaking performances by Shaolin Productions.

Witness the traditional Lion Dance glide colorfully throughout the mall as it ritually spreads luck to fortunate vendors. The Lion will be bringing good luck to participating stores.   

In addition to the Lion Dance and Kung Fu presentation, there will be other Chinese Vendors featured to add to the festivities. Celebrity Chef, Bryan Au will be autographing his newest addition to his published recipe books. He promotes healthy eating. The Asian Insider will be giving away promotional items and we will have a Tarot reader for $5 per 15 minute sessions.

Although the actual Lion Dance will start at 4pm, the vendors will be present all day.
